Now that immunotherapy is 98% effective and cheap, most of the $200 billion cancer treatment, care, and research industry has been wiped out. 20 million high-paying jobs lost. Queueing up the worst recession since 2020 when the US lost the trade wars with Mexico and Canada.
Nearly 12% of the economy was lost almost over night.
Not only were the 20 million high paying jobs for cancer doctors and support staff lost. Also another 5-10 million jobs were wiped out in the communities surrounding the medical centers.
Medical insurance companies have downsized their claims processing departments by nearly 35%. "Cancer care claims have always been the most complex and expensive to process," explains an insurance industry insider. "Because computers now process most other claims, we just don't need many human claims processors any more."
The worldwide economic consequences are yet undetermined. It could be more than a trillion dollars annually.
There is a move in congress to ban immunotherapy treatments and defund all cancer research. Stay tuned. There is a bill that is expected to emerge from committee in the next week or so.
